The quintessential accompaniment with Indian food, Sirke wala pyaaz, also known as Vinegar-ed Onion. This is our family favourite and a must for many to go with their meal.
We chose the best of button onions pickled in vinegar along with juliennes of fresh ginger and a few slit green chillies to add that extra edge. Steeped in vinegar and dash of beetroot to add that beautiful red color, this is made the old-fashioned way. We make these in small batches fresh to ensure the crunch and bite in the onions.
A great digestive these embellish any meal, with the tangy, khatta-meetha punch.
It can also be used as a Lebanese pickle to go on your Felafel or Shawarma sandwich.
